| 半年前想换工作(原来的是contractor),post resume on monster.com. 不停的有recruiter's call. 我本人是很喜欢recruiter的。我所接触的几个公司都是让recruiter找人。一是省时间,二是省人力。所以不要拒绝recruiter。而且recruiter会帮你分析你申请的公司的情况来告诉你面试需要注意的问题。曾经有一个recruiter还帮我把resume改的very professional. 言归正传,先有了一个offer.First day, meet with IT manager and IT VP, then got email at same day to meet with whole IT group members. After second interview, got email with offer. And I accepted. Same day, got another call from another recruiter. I didn't want go because I was happy with first offer. But she was so nice and pushed me to try this one (of course she wanted make money on it). Past the phone interview, then scheduled on-site interview next day. Met IT manager, other Sr. developers. This time, I felt they were satisfy with me bacause IT manger immediately took me to HR manager's office when I asked about benefits question. The HR manager asked how much salary I expect. REMEBER, DON'T TELL THEM NOW, ASK THE COMPNAY BUDGET FOR THIS POSTION!!! I was told that same with my first offer. Then I told them I have an offer on hand now and have same rate with them. Next day, I got email from recruiter the informal offer they offer me to ask me if I agree. if yes, they will give me the formal offer letter. So nice, it is a bridge between me and company and I have a space that I can negotiate with them. Finally, I got same offer rate with previous offer and plus 20%-30% monthly bonus. Now is the time deal with the first company. I wrote a thanks letter to them said I got another offer, I prefer to accept another one and also appreciate their offer too. So, It doesn't matter you have offer on hand or not. if they like you they will match what you want. |
