Plymouth's position comes despite the second-lowest A-level average of the top 20 universities and reflects an excellent rating for its undergraduate programme, as well as the success of its academics in the Research Assessment Exercise. It is one of four new universities to make the top 20, of which Hertfordshire and Greenwich were also graded excellent for teaching. |
