For teaching quality, only two universities scored less than 20 out of 24. Ironically, the only English institution to record top marks for teaching, Imperial College, was also the only one of the top nine to miss out on a five-star rating for research. Oxford pips Cambridge to first place in the table with average entrygrades close to three As at A level - by far the highest for geology. |
