But with an excellent grade for teaching and the only five-star rating for research, the London School of Economics is a clear winner. Thirteen universities were considered excellent at teaching, and Warwick scored the maximum 24 points under the assessment system, which was introduced in England in 1995. Sheffield Hallam is the only new university in the top 20. Another 16 institutions offering the subject are not included in the table because they chose to to have their teaching assessed under sociology. |
